When you find yourself just north of Chelsea and south of Hell’s Kitchen you will come to a new place to visit in our wonderful town, Hudson Yards in New York City.In the neighborhood that keeps growing we have yet another experience for that you cannot miss. The focal point of Hudson Yards stretches from 30th street to 34thstreet. There between 10th and 12th avenues you will find the “The Vessel”.
About The Vessel:
The Vessel is brand new Landmark in New York City and is the heart of Hudson Yards. It’s a 16 story structure with 154 flights of stairs and 80 landings. Each landing provides an amazing perspective of the city from different heights and angles. Above all, photographers and visitors who can withstand heights will find this to be a perfect spot to experience New York City views. Open 7 days a week from the hours of 10:00am to 9:00pm, you can get all sorts of lighting. You can gain free tickets if you are willing to go on a first come first serve basis. If you have a specific time in mind you wish to visit, you may purchase tickets at $10.00 each to reserve your spot ahead of time.

The Arts at Hudson Yards:
The Shed features shows and performances from New York City’s own Artists. The Shed is a beautiful new structure located right where the High Line meets Hudson yards. This is a platform for local talent as well as a showcase for original artwork. It falls right in line with the art work presented by it’s neighbor, the High Line Park as a result art enthusiasts will find this especially entrancing.

Shopping & Dining at Hudson Yards:
Hudson Yards in New York City offers a range high end shopping and dining destinations. The indoor shopping mall is simply called “The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards”. Guests can enjoy the multi-level mall between 30th and 33rd Streets on 10th Avenue. Shops are open from 10:00am – 9:00pm from Monday through Saturday and 11:00am – 7:00pm on Sundays. Being one of the newest structures in the city has its benefits. It has attracted some of the most popular vendors you can find including the highly asked about Neiman Marcus. In addition, the mall also hosts some amazing dining options from the high end ambiance of ‘Estiatorio Milos’ to the more casual experience of fried chicken and a slushie at Momofuku’s ‘Fuku’.
There is so much to do and see at new Hudson Yards. In one full day you can experience most of what New York City has to offer in what is about an eight block radius. The best part is that you don’t need to plan in advance. Mostly everything can be done for free and on the fly!

Getting to Hudson Yards:
The best way to get there is the 7 train to 34th Street Hudson Yards Station. This is the last stop on the “7” line. In other words, take the subway to the end and don’t miss this must see destination. Above all, the views alone are worth the trip downtown with many areas still being developed.
