Rooftop Garden & Penthouse 1202 Weddings

With 1300 sq ft of Indoor & Outdoor event space, Hotel Giraffe’s adjacent Rooftop Garden (outdoor) & Penthouse 1202 (indoor) offer a beautiful, intimate space that is perfect for a wedding ceremony and/or reception with close family and friends.

 

CAPACITIES:

Hotel Giraffe has two seasons when it comes to booking wedding events.

In Season events range from May through Early October
Off Season events range from Mid-October to April

Each season has its own wedding capacities based on use of the Rooftop Garden. Although if weather permits, the Rooftop Garden can absolutely be used in any season, we only guarantee use of the Garden based on capacities during the in-season months since the Rooftop Garden cannot be heated.

PRICING:

Our Ceremony Fee is $3,000 plus tax*, which includes:

  • Up to (50) Fruitwood Ballroom Chiavari Chairs with cushions
  • Set-up, and breakdown of ceremony space
  • a Prosecco toast for the wedding party pre and post ceremony
  • “Wedding Days” Guestroom: The Balcony King Guestroom on the 12th floor to be used as a place for the happy couple to prepare for the big day. Access to this guestroom starting at 3:00pm on the wedding day. **(The Happy Couple may also rent the guestroom the night before their wedding, based on availability, in order to guarantee access to the guestroom prior to 3:00pm on their wedding day)**.

Our Reception Rental Fee is $2,000 plus tax with a ceremony* and $3,500 plus tax without a ceremony*, which includes:

  • “Honeymoon Nights” Guestroom – Balcony King Guestroom for wedding night *(Same room as “wedding day” room) – Hotel Giraffe will provide romantic turndown and late checkout the following day.
  • Use of the event space for up to five hours
  • Fruitwood Chiavari Chairs with cushions – same as ceremony chairs
  • Set-up and breakdown of Reception Space
  • Up to (5) 60’’ round tables with white linens

CATERING

Hotel Giraffe’s weddings are catered by our delicious, rustic Italian, in house restaurant, Bread & Tulips. They provide a variety of menus that include Three – Four Course Plated Dinners, Family Style Dinner, Buffet Dinner, Passed Hors D’oeuvres, Stationary Hors D’oeuvres, as well as Wine & Beer, Standard Open Bar, & Premium Open Bar Packages.

Food & Beverage Packages typically range from $185pp – $250pp plus tax and gratuity; however, we are always happy to work with each client to customize every wedding!

In need of 5 or more guestrooms for your upcoming wedding? Whether you are hosting your wedding at Hotel Giraffe or just in the nearby area, your group can receive special discounted rates to enjoy the comfort of Hotel Giraffe during your wedding weekend!

As with all of our rates at Hotel Giraffe, your wedding guests will enjoy the following complimentary amenities:

  • Continental Style Breakfast Buffet is served each morning in our Grand Lobby
    • Until 10:30am Monday – Friday
    • Until 11:00am Saturday – Sunday
  • Cappuccino, cafe au lait, espresso, cookies, and whole fruits are served all day, every day
  • A selection of wine and hors d’oeuvres complimented with live cocktail piano music on weeknights, is available every evening from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
  • A selection of local and national newspapers available to all guests in our lobby
  • WiFi Internet access
  • Daily passes to New York Sports Club

As the happy couple, Hotel Giraffe will enhance your experience with the perfect joyful touch. Should your wedding group make use of 10 guestrooms or more per night, the newlyweds will receive distinctive amenities, including an upgrade to a suite if available!
