Reasons We Love The Library Hotel Collection

Published: May 9th, 2016

Now that voting is open for the 2016 Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards, we want to reflect on some of the reasons we love the Library Hotel Collection. And we must say that when we think about why we love our hotels, a lot of reasons come to mind. But for now, here are our favorites:

We love how much our hotels express our passion for life and culture. Every time you stay at one of our hotels is another chance to explore something new. When you visit the Library Hotel, home to over 6,000 books, you instantly find yourself in the ultimate book lover’s paradise. Since each of the ten guestroom floors is dedicated to one of the ten major classifications of knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System, it’s easy to get swept away browsing through your own personal library of books and artwork on a unique subject. The Aria Hotel Budapest seamlessly blends music and beautiful architecture native to Budapest, paying homage to some of the world’s greatest artists and composers. And each of the rooms and suites at the Aria Hotel Prague is inspired by classical, contemporary, opera and jazz music. During your stay you can learn more about prominent musicians, from Mozart and Beethoven to Elvis and Billie Holiday.

We love that each of our hotels is a unique reflection of the city it resides in. Our hotels are just as culturally rich on the outside as they are on the inside, and when you venture out into the nearby areas, you’ll find that you’re superbly located in the heart of the city. High Note SkyBar_City View_at nightNear the Library Hotel is the New York Public Library, and Grand Central Station is conveniently right around the corner. At the Aria Hotel Prague you’re located just a short walk from some of Prague’s most impressive sights, including the magical Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, the Royal Gardens, St. Nicholas Church, the Jewish Quarter and Old Town Square. At Aria Hotel Budapest you’re just a minute’s walk to St. Stephen’s Basilica, right across the river from Buda Castle and during the summer you’re only a few blocks away from the Budapest Eye.

When our guests head out to explore the vibrant cities surrounding our hotels, it’s always great to hear about their journeys and new discoveries. We love that our guests welcome us into their unforgettable travels when they stay at one of our hotels. It’s fascinating to hear everyone’s stories and share our enthusiasm for the exciting cities we’re in.
