New Holiday Shops in NYC
Published: November 29th, 2019With the holiday season upon us, there is always that sense of angst in the search for that perfect gift for our loved ones. Look no further than your visit to New York City!
Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards is the new hot spot in New York City. Seven years into the making (it’s still not complete), we are finally getting to see the marvel this neighborhood is becoming. The much anticipated mall opened in March of this year, and is comprised of over 70 shops with more to come! You can find anything and everything here, as there is a wide array to choose from. There are high-end stores such as Neiman Marcus, Fendi, and Cartier… and more affordable options such as H&M and Zara. There is something for everyone here, and a perfect place to get that special gift. See all of the stores here: Hudson Yards
Nordstrom
Right in the heart of Columbus Circle is the new Nordstrom NYC Flagship store that opened in October of this year. With over 320,000 feet of retail space and seven levels to shop from, you will surely be able to find many great items. Find more info here: Nordstrom
Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park
Although this is not technically new, it is new for this season. Every year from the end of October until the beginning of January, Bryant Park turns into a beautiful winter village full of small shops, an ice skating rink, and little eateries. Many of the shops are small businesses that specialize in a certain niche, like glass making, jewelry, or toys that are created and developed by the business itself. You may find great things that are very unique and won’t be found anywhere else. These shops are also very close to both Library Hotel and Casablanca Hotel, and not very far from Hotel Elysée or Hotel Giraffe as well. Check out the shops here: Winter Village
Grand Central Holiday Fair
Much like the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, the Grand Central Holiday Fair pops up every year at this time. This holiday fair is located in Grand Central Terminal and runs from November 18 through Christmas Eve, December 24. While you marvel at the architecture and grandeur that is Grand Central Terminal, head to Vanderbilt Hall well there are an array of little shops that specialize in clothing, artwork, jewelry, and even accessories designed for our 4-legged friends. Check it out here: Grand Central Holiday Fair
