Today’s entry is not so much a “Tip for Travelers” but more like a tip of the hat to the book lovers, theater goers, and culture seekers who have made the Library Hotel Collection properties their home away from home in New York City. Thank you to all the guests who stayed with us for Poetry Month, for Book Expo America, and to all those staying with us for The Writer’s Hotel Master Class coming up soon! You will be in great company as we have joyfully welcomed many great writers through the years at the Library Hotel such as Nelson DeMille, David Baldacci, Diane Ackerman, Dava Sobel, and many more. Mario Puzo, Mary McCarthy, Sidney Sheldon, Harold Robbins, and the incomparable Tennessee Williams made the Hotel Elysee their home in New York City as well.
