Seen and Heard at Aria: Celebrities love Aria Hotel Budapest!
Published: December 16th, 2016All of our guests at Aria Hotel Budapest are special — some are just a little more well-known to the public than others! We love when celebrities visit and get to enjoy all of the wonderful amenities we have to offer. Here’s the who’s-who of celebrity guests who visited Aria in 2016:
Opera tenor genius Plácido Domingo stayed at Aria and serenaded guests with a beautiful rendition of “Autumn Leaves” on the Bogányi piano in our Music Garden. He even chatted with our Music Director, Kornél Magyar, (pictured above) and left his autograph for us to admire on our “Mirrors of Fame” in Satchmo’s Bar & Library!
Anna Netrebko stayed at Aria with her husband, Yusif Eyvazov Tenor, while in town to perform. She also left her mark of love on our Mirrors of Fame!
Iconic Hungarian pop singer Magdolna Rúzsa shined like a diamond while filming her latest music video, Érj Hozzám, at Aria. Magdi is the honorary curator of Aria’s contemporary wing and helped us celebrate Aria’s 1st Anniversary in June.
Singer and songwriter Anastacia stayed at Aria while in Budapest for her “Ultimate Collection Tour.” She even left us this lovely inspirational note to remember her always!
Actor Chris Noth visited Aria over the summer for a party with the cast and crew of his most recent TV drama, Tyrant. The group enjoyed beautiful sunset views, cocktails and cigars atop our High Note SkyBar.
We had the privilege of welcoming Andrea Rost, the honorary curator of Aria’s Opera wing, in June. The world-famous opera singer recently launched an exclusive jewelry collection, which she displayed in our very own Satchmo’s Bar & Library during Aria’s 1st Anniversary Party.
2016 sure has been a star-studded year at Aria, and we are excited to welcome some more famous faces in 2017. We’d also love to help plan your trip to Aria so we can spoil you with some celebrity treatment during your stay!
