“We are extremely proud that our commitment to our guests has made a lasting impression on Condé Nast readers and has once again placed us among the best in the world. It is a great honor to be recognized by Condé Nast Traveler based on international guest reviews, which also consolidates the leading role of Aria Hotel Budapest in Central and Southern Europe. As a member of the Library Hotel Collection, we have been present on the Hungarian market for eight years, the series of global crises of the past few years have sensitively affected the hotel industry, but Aria not only survived the difficult period but also strengthened its position” – says hotel director Ferenc Marx in connection with the award.
The Budapest member of the New York Library Hotel Collection hotel group won gold medals in the Central European field of the market in 2016 and 2018, in 2017 it was awarded a silver medal by the guests, and in 2019 it came fifth.
Condé Nast Traveler, which has been around for more than three decades and has received numerous awards, is a symbol of authenticity among travelers. The transatlantic brand, which appears on several platforms, is appreciated by its readers for its relevant and inspiring content in addition to its unique tone. Being included in the selections compiled annually based on reader reviews is one of the most prestigious accolades in the travel sector by the luxury travel magazine published in the United States and the United Kingdom.
The regional recognition of the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards is the sixth prestigious award for Aria Hotel Budapest. In January 2017, it won the title of World’s Best Hotel at the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, based on the ratings of visitors to the largest travel site. One of the most important analysts of the travel sector, ReviewPro, chose Budapest’s Aria Hotel as the sixth best individual luxury hotel in the world based on an analysis of 2.7 million guest reviews, while the hotel group that operates Aria, the Library Hotel Collection, earned the title of the world’s number one small luxury brand. In the spring of 2018, Condé Nast already evaluated the roof bar of the Aria Hotel Budapest separately, naming the High Note SkyBar as one of the 10 best roof terraces in the world. Harmony Spa, located in the hotel and voted the best in Europe in 2015, won the Best Spa in Hungary award at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2018.
