Adele Gutman Milne has over 35 years of experience in all areas of hospitality marketing and has worked for hotelier Henry Kallan for 20 years. Adele currently oversees the revenue generation for six Library Hotel Collection properties including sales, marketing, revenue management, public relations, new hotel concept strategies, and launches. This includes providing leadership for all brand initiatives, online marketing efforts, social media, electronic distribution,  and, most importantly, the unique Library Hotel Collection guest experience reputation which optimizes the efficiency of all revenue-generating disciplines.

Regularly serving as an authority on reputation management and service as marketing, Adele has written and been quoted in numerous articles,  and frequently serves as a featured speaker at hospitality industry conferences and educational programs, including the HSMAI Digital Marketing Conference,  the Digital Marketing Summit, and the Hotel Data Conference, and several TripAdvisor Master Classes.

Adele is most proud to have orchestrated initiatives and formulated management techniques that have resulted in the ranking of all four New York City Library Hotel Collection properties simultaneously occupying the top four spots in NYC on TripAdvisor, an achievement yet unmatched by any other hotel group. This is not a passing achievement; a decade later, at the time of this update, Library  Hotel Collection properties still occupy the #1, #2, and #3 top traveler ranked hotels out of 509 in New York City, based on guest satisfaction.  For two years in a row, the Library Hotel Collection was recognized as having the highest guest satisfaction rating of any luxury hotel brand in the world as noted in the 2015 and 2016 Luxury Brand Report. The opening of Aria Hotel Budapest was so successful that it has reigned as the #1 hotel in Budapest for over 5 years, and in 2017, the Aria was honored as the  #1 Hotel in the World by the TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Awards. Aria Hotel Budapest was also named one of the top ten European City Hotels on the World’s Best List by Travel and Leisure, and the #22 Hotel in the World as well as #1 Hotel in Central Europe by Conde Nast Readers Choice Awards 2016. The consistent ranking for all Library Hotel Collection properties on the top ten in their respective cities on TripAdvisor for over 10 years has had a powerful impact on demand generation for the hotels.  The Casablanca Hotel, the Library Hotel, and the Hotel Giraffe have also received multiple TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards over the years.

Aria Hotel Budapest was also presented with an award for the Best European Wellness Spa and the Library Hotel was awarded the World’s Best City Boutique Hotel at the World Boutique Hotel Awards. Additionally, Conde Nast Traveler has listed the Library Hotel as one of the Best Hotels in NYC: Readers’ Choice Awards 2015 and #4  on the list in 2016. Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection is a new hotel and the only lakefront urban resort in downtown Toronto, destined to take its place among the top hotels of Canada. Although not every aspect of the hotel’s extraordinary array of amenities has been finished, it already ranks among the top 5 guest rated hotels in Toronto on Tripadvisor.

The Library Hotel Collection was recognized as the Luxury Brand with the Top Global Review Index/Guest Satisfaction Rating in the World by the 2015  and 2016 Luxury Brand Report by ReviewPro.  Thanks to Adele and the work of her team, whom she calls the “World’s Kindest Hoteliers”,  the Library Hotel Collection was awarded a Gold Adrian Award for excellence in Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Reputation Management.

Adele has served on the TripAdvisor Industry Leadership Council and the HSMAI Digital Marketing Council as well as the Greater New York Chapter Advisory Board. Adele has also served on the boards of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association’s New York, Dallas, and University of Houston chapters. Adele’s work in Sales and Marketing has also earned Adrian Awards for Advertising, Brochure Design, Website Marketing, Email Marketing, and Public Relations. The Adrian Awards are presented by HSMAI, where Adele has also served as a judge for the awards for many years.

Adele Gutman Milne is a graduate of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston as well as the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston.
