Summer is here in New York City! It’s time to relax and enjoy brunch or a day full of shopping on the streets of SOHO. SOHO offers a variety of trendy restaurants and both designer-boutiques and exotic shops. This one of a kind area is lined with cobblestone streets and covered in cast-iron-fronted buildings that create a tasteful and fascinating environment.
From the Elysée Hotel it’s just a five minute walk to the Subway. The 6 train on Park Ave and 51st St, will take you down to Spring Street in about 15 minutes. Spring Street will lead you to the heart of one of the city’s finest areas. Another alternative is a 25 minute cab ride into SOHO.
Before shoppers venture off to a haven of vintage delights, a good shopper must prepare with a delicious and hardy brunch.
Brunch Spots:
Sadelles (463 W. Broadway b/w Prince & Houston St) – If you think you’ve already had the best bagel, wait until you have tried these! They’re served on towers! With a stylish and energetic ambiance, Sadelles serves a variety of American-style food.
Jacks Wife Freda (224 Lafayette St b/w Kenmare & Spring St) – Jack’s Wife Freda is a charming Mediterranean restaurant with a soft appeal that makes it perfect for a lovely brunch with friends.
Felix (340 W. Broadway & Grand St) – Is always packed and energetic. Felix is a fantastic brunch spot on a sunny day. Located on a quiet corner but always eager to open the doors to the streets. It’s the perfect setting for people watching.
The Cupping Room Café (359 W. Broadway)- Another brunch spot in a more casual setting with fantastic food! The café offers traditional breakfast foods such as pancakes, omelets and even room to customize your own Benedicts.
When on long shopping ventures, we’re sure one of these restaurants will help you get through the day.
Shopping:
The heart of shopping in SOHO lies in between four main streets: W Houston to the north, Broadway to the east, Canal Street to the south and W Broadway to the west. Along W Broadway there are many recognizable stores such as Zara, Topshop, the Nike Store, Bloomingdales and H&M, just to name a few.
The side streets between Broadway and West Broadway offer a variety of funky boutiques.
Anthom (25 Mercer Street): An upscale Women’s vintage store that can only be found in SOHO
Tommorrowland (476 Broome Street): Hip Japanese boutique for both men and women.

Shoppers tend to get thirsty while holding all their bags from these fabulous stores! Just around the corner from Wolf + Badger is Dr. Smood (470 Broome Street), shoppers can sit and enjoy an organic beverage or healthy meal.
