The Aria Hotel Budapest: A Paradise for Music Lovers

The Aria Hotel is the newest member of the Library Hotel Collection. Its musical concept will give luxury travelers an extraordinary experience of Hungarian and world musical heritage. Architect Zsolt Szecsi and master interior designer Zoltan Varro have transformed a 19th century bank building into a limestone-clad intimate hotel with the atmosphere of a private home, a distinctive musical theme and to-die-for rooftop.
The four wings (comprising 49 guest rooms and suites) each will celebrate a major music genre: Classical, Opera, Contemporary, and Jazz music through decor, art and sound. Each room and suite is designed and decorated to commemorate a specific famous composer or artist. Irving Berlin, Count Basie, Bob Dylan, James Brown and Belá Bartók are just a few of the music icons who will be honored at the Aria Hotel Budapest. Joseph Blecha caricatures of notable musical legends are imprinted on standalone mirrors greeting guests in and outside of the rooms. Download a menu of our Musical Legends and our Digital Brochure to get better acclimated with the style  and of the hotel.

Located in the historic city center on the Pest side of the Danube River , Aria is situated beside St. Stephen’s Basilica. the hotel is steps from a charming pedestrian plaza featuring high-end shops, restaurants, cafes and musical entertainment, and is within a five minutes’ walk to the renowned Chain Bridge, the elegant tree-lined Andrássy  Avenue and Budapest’s Opera House. The city’s fairy tale-like Parliament and endless palaces surrounding Szabadság tér (or Freedom Square) are also a short walk from the hotel.

The property’s full service rooftop garden and High Note Skybar is destined to become Budapest’s hottest new night spot with magical views of the city. American Jazz great Louis Armstrong will be memorialized in Satchmo’s Bar and Lounge. The hotel’s unique music, entertainment, and spa concept works in concert with this majestic city to create an unparalleled experience for cultured travelers.
