Here are 7 ways our guests can experience holiday cheer during their stay!
1. These Packages Don’t Have to be Wrapped

The Aurora Winter Festival transforms Ontario Place into a mystical winter wonderland inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the Aurora Borealis with outdoor ice skating, a tube park, a Christmas Market and more. From Nov. 22-Jan. 5, the festival promises to be a highlight of the holiday season in Toronto! Package rates start at $349+ tax per night and include 2 tickets to the festival (children 3 and under free), 2 hot cocoas at Nespresso Café, a $25 daily breakfast credit at Maxx’s Kitchen, holiday movies in our Screening Room, 2 hours of caregiver supervision at 10XTO’s Play Centre and more!

Holiday Family Fun Package: Regardless of with whom you are spending the holidays, our hotel was designed with families in mind. Offering ample room and suite options – one, two, or three bedrooms as well as a wide range of connecting rooms – make it easy for a multi-generational family to stay together. Package rates start at $327+tax per night and include self-parking, a $50 food and beverage credit per night, nightly holiday-themed milk and cookies turn down service, holiday movies in our Screening Room, 2 hours of caregiver supervision at 10XTO’s Play Centre and more!

2. Laughter is the Perfect Holiday Cheer

Second City, the world’s premier comedy club and school of improvisation, is taking to the stage in our two-story, 250-seat Cinema this holiday season. Free for registered hotel guests, The Second City’s Improv Showdownwill perform 15 hilarious, interactive holiday shows where the routines are 50% scripted and 50% improv. Perfect for the whole family, two teams of top-notch improvisers will compete in a winner-takes-all comedy face-off complete with audience volunteers. Shows begin on Dec. 13th, 2019 and run through Jan. 5th, 2020.

3.“Oh, Christmas isn’t just a day, it’s a frame of mind”

Quotes made famous by Christmas classics like Miracle on 34th StreetElfA Christmas Story, and Home Alone are just part of the magic of holiday movies. Hotel X Toronto is the only hotel in Toronto with an in-house, state-of-the-art 56-seat Screening Room and it is the perfect place to get out of the cold and warm up with a complimentary showing of holiday-themed movies throughout the month of December.

4. Glitter, Glue, and Letters to Santa

Kids, and parents, can enjoy our year-round amenities – including a 55-foot rooftop indoor /outdoor pool, and 3,000 sq. ft. Kid’s Play Centre. This holiday season, kids can head to the Play Centre for a daily schedule of festive activities ranging from building a gingerbread house to a candy cane hunt, making Christmas tree slime or writing the perfect letter to Santa. Hourly fees apply.

5. Eat, Drink and Be Merry

As the temperatures drop and snow starts falling in Toronto, the best way to stay warm is often with a festive cocktail. Whether with gin, rum, vodka, champagne, or anything in between, the talented mixologists at our three-level rooftop Falcon SkyBar have created a seasonal menu of drinks to keep the holiday spirit alive late into the night. Be it “A Falcon in a Pear Tree,” “The Gingerbread Man” or “Hazel’s Nutcracker,” look out over the Toronto skyline while staying warm inside and out. Sitting down with friends or family for a meal? Maxx’s Kitchen is serving a special menu from Dec. 19-26, complete with some warm-weather favourites. From Nov. 25-Dec. 31 head to our Lobby to take a glimpse of the Holiday Gingerbread Christmas Village created by Executive Pastry Chef Bertie Tanaya!

6. Relax and Unwind

Holidays can be stressful at times – so the newly opened Guerlain Spa at Hotel X Toronto is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy some pampering and relaxation. Experience an exclusive treatment that the Guerlain team has created for our guests, including the Lake Ontario Hot Stones Massage, or Glamour in Toronto.

7. Start the New Year on Top

Celebrate 2020 in extravagant style at our New Year’s Eve party and start the new year on top at our three-level rooftop Falcon SkyBar. Take in the unparalleled views of the Toronto Skyline, comfortable atmosphere, and luxe setting, during an unforgettable evening. The party doesn’t have to stop at midnight – our New Year’s Eve guests are invited to extend the celebrations with a luxurious stay!
