TOP COMEDIANS HIT BUDAPEST FOR CABARET NIGHTS

This Wednesday, 7 November, the stage at Budapest’s Brody Studios will be given over to the UK’s Josh Howie, currently starring in his own sitcom on BBC Radio 4. We meet the Brody team to talk about their popular English-language comedy nights, ‘Laugh, Budapest, Laugh’.

DISCOVER THE BLACK FOOD FESTIVAL

Those who visit Budapest can come over to the dark side as coal-coloured food and drinks star at a new festival. On the first Sunday of November, Flow Specialty Coffee Barhosts the city’s first Black Food Festival, featuring chocolate, beans, rice, garlic, ice cream and crisps – all black, of course. In line with the bar’s principles, the treats served here will not contain any ingredient of animal origin. DJs spin hits during the event that runs from 3pm to 9pm. By the end of this one-day fiesta, a jury will select the Black Food and Black Drink of 2018.

SUZANNE VEGA CONCERT

To celebrate the anniversary of her famous album, Solitude Standing, cult singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega has been touring the world. On 11 November, she touches down in Budapest for a special show of her favourite tunes. The performer of Luka and 99.9F will be appearing on stage at the MOMSportcentre.
