‘Tis The Season for Holiday Markets

Published: November 30th, 2017

This December, the Casablanca neighborhood will be the home to two different pop up holiday markets. The Garment District Holiday Market is on Broadway between 40th and 41st streets, just a short walk from the Casablanca.

The market will feature unique gift booths and amazing eats for everyone, including gluten-free treats by Posh Pop Bakeshop, and macarons from WOOPS!. The market will be decked out with a holiday art installation featuring mannequin “trees” rocking garland and ornaments. The Garment District Holiday Market is open daily until December 24th.

Right in the heart of Times Square, you will find GIFTED. GIFTED is the newest pop up market to our neighborhood.  Running through December 22, GIFTED will host 16 independent NYC businesses, including ice cream spot Ice & Vice, clothing shop Fineapple New York, skincare brand Limegreen and more.  Once you have done your shopping, head over and check out the life-sized gingerbread scene, crafted by the students of the International Culinary Center, which tells the story of Times Square’s history from the days of the Ziegfeld Follies through the present.
