Prague is one of the most beautiful cities for travelers to visit and it is an easy city to enjoy on foot. The ARIA Hotel Prague is not only one of the the most luxurious and unique hotels in the city, it is also an ideal location from which to explore. Library Hotel Collection fans will especially love a visit to the world’s most beautiful library!
If you’re an avid reader and book lover like we are, you’re always searching for your next big literary adventure. Whether it’s between the pages of a bestseller or just getting lost in a new city, there’s nothing like letting your imagination run wild! New York City is full of iconic literary treasures where you can channel your favorite author while shopping, eating, and even sleeping among books. Ever wonder what “18 Miles of Books” looks like? Then you must check out Strand Bookstore in Union Square. If you’re a Dylan Thomas fanatic, make sure you stop by White Horse Tavern for a shot of whiskey and Minetta Tavern for their burger. Of course, we want you to visit all of the sites listed in your guidebook but when it comes to a book lover’s ideal vacation, Library Hotel Collection is here to help you read between the lines. We’re thrilled to share our favorite places in this “Book lover’s Guide to NYC” and truly hope you’re able to explore each one!
Every week, we encounter guests with questions about typical American hotel credit procedures. So that all travelers can be prepared and fully understand what to expect when they travel to the US, we asked the concierges at the Library Hotel Collection to put together this useful Q&A. We hope you will find it helpful in preparing for a smooth and worry-free travel experience!
We frequently hear from travelers before they arrive that what they would really love is to plan a unique experience with their loved one. Are you a literary thrill seeker? Are you a hopeless romantic? If you are looking for a unique experience, the Library Hotel Collection offers a unique amenity we like to call, “Love Poems for Two: A Couples Massage for the Mind and Soul.” For $125, about the price of a massage, travelers can enhance their stay by reserving a private poetry workshop with our talented Poet in Residence, Karen Clark. In 90 minutes, you’ll awaken your inner poet and learn the perfect way to express your love for each other by writing a personalized poem your loved one is sure to treasure forever!
If you are wondering if this workshop is something you would like to try, here is an excerpt from Karen’s blog about a session she gave recently with guests at the Casablanca Hotel.
Greetings from New York City to all our friends, family, and fans from around the world! We are so pleased to bring to you the Library Hotel Collection ’s new blog. It is our hope that we will be able to use this space to share some great advice with travelers and help everyone have the travel experience they always dreamed of.
While our team has always loved sharing our passion for New York City, I am excited to let you know we will also from time to time be sharing news about a few other great destinations. That’s because the Library Hotel Collection is growing! Some of you may be aware that about ten years ago, we launched a new hotel concept called the Aria Hotel
in Prague, Czech Republic. Just like the Library Hotel is dedicated to literature, the Aria Hotel was inspired by music, with each room honoring a distinctive musical style, artist, or composer. More than just a great concept, the Aria Hotel in Prague offers the highest standards of service. Just like the Library Hotel Collection properties in New York, the Aria is consistently ranked among the top hotels in Prague on TripAdvisor. We are now building the new Aria Hotel Budapest, which is slated to open by the end of the year. In just a few weeks we hope to launch our new website, but in the meantime, you can get a sneak peak of our sample rooms by visiting www.LibraryHotelCollection.com. By the end of 2015, we also hope to launch our new Hotel X Toronto. We will be sharing more details with you as our work there progresses.
