A Book Lover’s Dream Wedding: Meagan & Michael
Published: December 11th, 2017Our story begins many years ago, as our bride, Meagan, and our groom, Michael, began dating in high school, exploring together their passion for the literary arts. When these two high school sweethearts decided to take the next step in their romance novel there was no doubt in their two booklover’s minds on where to celebrate their big day; surrounded by friends and family, the New York City skyline, and books galore, the Library Hotel Rooftop was the perfect place. On September 9th, 2017, their new chapter began to embark on the next of life’s adventures!

Meagan carried a one-of-a-kind wedding bouquet made from pages of her favorite chapter in Pride and Prejudice.
At the stroke of noon, the ceremony took place on the Poetry Garden outdoor terrace. The young couple exchanged custom silver hammered rings, as a total of 20 friends and family members gathered to witness this happy celebration!
Meagan and Michael offered a selection of hors d’oeuvres along with book inspired cocktails from Library Hotel’s rooftop bar, Bookmarks Lounge, such as Tequila Mockingbird (a literary spin on a margarita) and The Hemingway (a mojito with a celebratory champagne twist).
Following the ceremony and cocktail hour, the wedding reception took place just down the hall in the Writer’s Den, a warm wood panned room with fireplace and enclosed terrace. Dinner was a feast fit for royalty; the menu began with Roasted Beet Salad, followed by Lemon & Herb Sautéed Chicken, Penne A La Vodka, and Grilled Vegetables.
